Hello!
These forums don't seem very active, but I don't know where else to pose my query...
To have a temporary change from trying to write a book, I decided to invent a new critical theory to rank alongside structuralism, psychoanalysis, all that.
It's coming along nicely, and is nearly finished.
Does anyone have any ideas what I could do with it? How do I get it to make me money?
It's already taken me more than half an hour to write the thing up, so it would be a shame to think that was time wasted.
It's easy to know what to do with a novel when you've written it - you publish it. But what am I meant to do with this?
All ideas appreciated!

I would suggest using your new critical technique to critique a book or some piece of writing.
If you really want to put some effort into it and make the theory stand out or get published then I would suggest an 'Introduction' in essay form, where you explain your new technique and compare and contrast it with those that already exist, after which you go on to critique several books or other works of art through your technique in further chapters, perhaps briefly explaining what other critical theories have said about the same works. This would illustrate how the theory works in practice.
Hope this helps.
